Please help me understand what's happening here... because I don't even know.

According to IMDb, this was made for $5,000,000.00.  I mean... is it a joke?  Is it designed this way to be viral?  Is it Dogme and I just don't get it?  I think I need to call my mom.  I need comforted.  I'm confused and scared I just don't know.  Help.

The actual movie was low budget it was the deli trays for the cast & crew that most of the 5 million dollars went into.

From the IMDB message board for the film:

Just got done watching the trailer and all I can say is 'Man' ! Dis look good.

I shouldn't have been surprised; I've come to expect quality productions from Index Square. Still, the trailer blew me away for several reasons, of which I will now relay to you presently.

Scenes I'm most looking forward to:

1) the MRI scene
2) the visit to the main market
3) the questionnaire filling-out scene

Provocative images:

1) the new intern--what role will she play?
2) Prorolis images. This is rumored to be the mysterious corporation behind everything that happens in After Last Season. "Prorolis" of course is an anagram for "prior sol," which translates from I believe Latin (possibly Greek) to "before the sun." The sun is most associated with summer, so "before the sun" equals spring. Winter is, obviously, the last season of the calendar year. And what comes after last season? Spring. Verrrrry provocative.
3) beware the sharp mind-ring of death!
4) If you pause it just right there is a disembodied hand in the virtual reality scene. I was like WHAT

Other thoughts?

That is bizarre. It has a real rating though. It was rated by the MPAA and that isn't cheap. Weather that is the actual trailer or film though is left to be seen.

Well I'd imagine it is. Supposedly it opens tomorrow in several Indie theaters across the country. I have a friend in Syracuse, maybe I'll have him drive to Rochester just to see if it's as bad as it looks.
