TRON is a hit

[Wendel]

Like most things in life, Riffing is not as easy as it appears.  That becomes painfully obvious when less than talented people try and do it (witness the attempts on YouTube).

That said, TRON is a great Rifftrax done by Jonathan Coulton & Paul and Storm.  Not only do they have the timing and humor needed to make and hour and a half movie riff enjoyable (who can't do a short), but they also have the chemistry that is so important in ensemble endeavors.

The only problems, for future help, are those that will show up in time.  There are a few more "topical" references than are wise to include, which, unfortunately,  will date this Riff far to quickly.

It is not easy to do a riff and harder to do an entire movie without sounding tired toward the end.  Jonathan Coulton & Paul and Storm have shown that they can do it as well as (almost) any other successful trio on this board, and I hope for the chance to hear them again.  So far, they have "brand recognition."

Good work.

Yeah, there were lots of moments where J, P & S's history of working together for so long became apparent.  Lots of on the fly additions in the booth, improvs, rewrites.  Paul's Brian Blessid impression was a great one.  Glad you enjoyed the riff.

I liked what I heard my only problem with it, is that I like putting names to voices and  I had no idea who was riffing at any given time. I need to listen to the intro a few more times so I know who is talking.

As a fan of this movie I was very disappointed that Mike, Kevin and Bill didn't perform the riffs to this one.  I hope they do "Tron Legacy" when that finally makes it to DVD.
