You're all way off, clearly "Carry on" is the clue, as in "Carry On My Wayward Son."  As this song was performed by Kansas, clearly, the allusion here is to "The Wizard of Oz."  But from there I'm lost.

I think you're right about "Carry On" being the clue, because Torgospizza says that after looking at this week's riff.  And on Twitter, Kevin dropped the clue of "Future generations will know this day, June 3rd, as "Johnsday."  For the life of them they will not know why".

If I search for "Carry on" and "John" at amazon, one of the movies which comes up is:  Band of Angels (1957) starring Clark Gable, Yvonne De Carlo, Sidney Poitier, and Efrem Zimbalist Jr.  I think that's it!

... Er, nope, wait, hold on.  Turns out Kevin was talking about today being John Hodgman's birthday.  Nevermind.

I think we all know what it's going to be... I'll just go get my copy of Dragon Wars now, or maybe Jumper... AvP:R is always good, or perhaps 10,000 B.C.

You're all missing the obvious. He's obviously saying it's "OH"....klahoma.

Discouraged but not defeated by the lack of controversy arising from the Casablanca riff, the good folks at RiffTrax have decided to up the ante and take on the unassailable sweetheart of film critics everywhere, Jodorowsky's Fando y Lis.

I don't want to hear the sound effects for that one.

I still think they should riff a porno.

Thank you for joining us for this extremely uncomfortable riff of "Butt Fuck Sluts Go Nuts Volume XIII".

LucasM

Pornos are too easy (between the 'good parts').  I think it'd be too much like a Coleman Francis film to them to try to keep the riffing going during the 'plot' of your average porn film.

I think the key is in the abandoned post...

*Checks the movie we're announcing today* OH, right! Carry on, then...

Seems everyone missed the relevant word here: "right".

So I'm going to go with the '20 questions' idea.  Here's my question: "is the film right-wing propaganda?"

[Of course... they could be doing 'The Right Stuff', or 'Do the Right Thing', or possibly (since it came up on Amazon on the first page of the search) 'The Best of The Price is Right'....  :-\   Maybe 'Dudley Do-Right' since that movie CLEARLY wasn't funny.]
To dispel some of the misconceptions about head injuries you have developed from watching movies and TV, I wrote this: ...Some Information on Head Injury Effects

That would include any of Michael Bay's movies.
