Yeah but I already paid the $10 for the file. I'm not impatient. I just want assurance that when the file's there, it will automatically be in my files and that I didn't mess it up by buying too soon. :^)

I suspect you'll either have a file, or (more likely) you'll find a refund in your account.

(note that I don't really know.  I'm just confident that the guys at rifftrax will do their best to come up with fair solutions for everyone -- whatever that might be depending on what you've paid for).

I'm sure it's simplest for them, and most logical, to just do refunds.  They're not going to consider any credits or anything I'm sure.

I still hope they try this again.  It might be a good idea to do some test runs first with maybe some i-riffers just doing live audio.

Oooo.  Actually, that's a great idea.  Run a series of the iRiff'ed shorts as the "test video", and then invite a ton of people in to watch.  See what happens with that kind of load.

One thing I feel bad about here is that I know riffers bought plane tickets and had to re-arrange schedules and things to make this happen, and then it collapses under technical (or user-end) issues.  What we need is some kind of realistic test situation where there isn't so much money and time put on the line.

darkchashy

that's just how we ride.

I used to play bass for Easy There Champ.
Now you just stare at your shrooms... :o

Darth Geek

Are we still going to get the special treat? Or was that part of what was going to be live? And no Q & A of any kind? How about on the Forum or Chatroom?

I saw them at the Holiday Inn in Hoboken. They wailed.

I am not sure what is going on with the products.  If they are not showing up I will let the web guys know, but they are pretty busy trying to figure out WTF happened with the meltdown.

This kind of went like how our SAP golive project is going now...... the guy who was supposed to verify some configuration work has disappeared in a black hole (cannot get via home phone, work phone or instant messager) and the guys in Chicago are texting me asking where he is at.   I tell them, "Houston is  a big city, I dont keep tabs on everyone.....".

Since we have 48 hours more to go this weekend, I think this, like our downloads, can wait!

torgosPizza

Well the normal product is out. We'll have the goodies and stuff all sorted out early next week.

I'm confused, apparently they did a copy that's pre-recorded.. So..

That's what's for sale now?

I thought the live version was 'special', which was canceled.

I guess they did a pre-recorded one already, and now that's up.  But the live one's done with?

I suppose the live/pre-recorded ones are totally seperate?

Pak-Man

Yeah. There was a live show, that they couldn't get to go live, and that's never happening, but there was a studio-recorded Video-On-Demand version that they had already recorded that you can get now. :^)

Monty22001

Interesting..  They do things in a strange way I think.  I guess the pre-recorded version is there and done, but they market the live version as different and so on...  I'm thinking they might want to make the live versions more 'exclusive' online, cause that obviously has a huge demand.

It frankly kinda ruins the fun and the 'value' of the $15 live payment we did.  It seems less exclusive, especially since it's an unreleased movie so far from them.  Anyway, I know they're upset and so on.  We love you guys.
