Let me add Star Wars 1-3, and starting on 4. I had the night off, so it became a Rifftrax marathon.

Doctor Who?

I just assumed I had a DvD of Batman Forever when I downloaded the riff, turns out I have to wait for the disc I ordered to coming from Amazon so while I'm waiting I watched.

The Lion King
Good riff they were a little hard on the movie.  Maybe it's my inner ten year old but I still like this movie

Batman and Robin

They really should have added their own jokes in the dead spaces.  other then that great riff.

The Lion King
This movie is a comedy.  Not wholly a comedy... but still a comedy.  I can't bring myself to watch it (also prob cuz of my own inner 10 year old).  Any time the "no riffing comedies" rule comes up, all (ok... most) the cartoon iriffs need mentioning.  It's like I'm the only one who sees the disconnect here.  Oh well.

Was gonna start X-Men 1 (for the billionth time) last night but wound up just watching a buncha Weird Al vids instead.  Haha.

Voodoo Man

Excellent trax.  This should even please all the diehard MST folks who refuse to watch Rifftrax.  It felt very MST and I laughed throughout.  I also appreciated the short length.  It's less than 70 minutes. I usually find that I like a trax a bit better if the movie isn't super long.  Probably my favorite of the older films that they've done, although I haven't seen Planet of Dinosaurs or Casablanca yet.

Rifftrax Presents: Batman Forever. AWEfrigginSOME!

Really? That good?

I really cant buy this riff on principal, I dont think The Guy should've been involved in anything that he could've used his already big cult following in allowing him to win...keep in mind this is coming from someone that didn't have a riff of his own entered and would highly recommend his Lion King riff....with that being said it probably is really that good.

Well I'd like to think that the successful sales of this Rifftrax will make the guys want to do another iRiff contest soon. That means the lesser known contestants from the previous contest will have a better chance without a more famous person overshadowing them. Plus the contestants have had more time to add to their catalogs since the last contest.

Troll 2

Believe it or not I hadn't seen this before.  I've been waiting all this time for the right moment.  I'd seen clips of this film at the Smithee awards and it frightened me. Also, I could tell that it was going to be one of those movies that would spoil my appetite for a few hours, which is another reason I put it off for so long. Last night I finally took the plunge, with the support of a friend.  We both thought it was very funny.  We also thought that it would have been almost as funny without the jokes,  but it was nice to have Mike and the other guy along for the ride. A fine job of riffing. I was pretty impressed with Kyanka (spelling?).  I thought he did a fine job and now I'm looking forward to whatever it is he'll be doing during the live riffing.  It will probably be a long time until I re-watch it, however.  The movie is just too icky. One of those films that makes you want to jump immediately into the shower for both a physical and spiritual cleansing.

I have also recently revisited The Matrix... It was the night game in my MST3K / Rifftrax doubleheader.

It's been probably 2.5 years since I last visited this one... I remembered it as good, not great. That opinion pretty much holds after the revisit. A lot of solid riffs, consistent chuckling and a few big laughs... but Mike and Kevin seemed intent to cram in material that would have been more at home during MST3K-style host segments. On more than one occasion, they were just blatantly talking over the movie. While the guys are always amusing during these little tangents, I would have rather just kicked back and actually watched The Matrix itself during these stretches. I guess that's the double-edged sword of riffing on movies that are actually entertaining... sometimes it backfires if you draw too much attention to yourself and away from the film. Still, there are a lot of solid riffs to be found and laughs to be had. I'd give it 3 outta 4 stars.

Empire Strikes Back

Excellent.   Steady laughter throughout with lots of really big laughs.  My favorite of the Star Wars trax.  My only complaint is of a technical nature.  I couldn't hear Chad Vader on some of his lines.  They seem to be having this issue with guest riffers lately (I had the same problem hearing Joel Mchale on Red Dawn).

I sent my friend into a mild form of shock while watching this last night.  All these years he was under the impression that George Lucas directed this film.  Last night he discovered that neither did he direct it or write the script.  An excellent sci-fi writer by the name of Leigh Brackett co-wrote the screenplay.  I always thought this is the best star wars film  partially because Lucas had less to do with it than most of the others.
