Because you all are just dying to hear...

I was born in August, 1977, the second and only boy of 4 children. My dad was a minister, and was usually the music director of the Baptist Church/School we were attending at the time, and thus we traveled around the U.S. from church to church. We lived in Chattanooga Tennessee, Arlington Texas, Jacksonville Florida, Grand Junction, Pueblo, and Colorado Springs Colorado, Hot Springs Arkansas, Atlanta Georgia, and Oklahoma City Oklahoma. I graduated from high school in 1995, then moved from OKC to Dallas, Texas, to attend school at the Art Institute of Dallas. After several years and a few failed classes later, I graduated in 2000, got a job at the JCPenney home office located in Plano, Texas, and have been here ever since. My dad and I used to watch MST3K when it aired on Comedy Central, back in the early 90s. I believe it aired Saturday mornings, and we never missed a show if we could help it. I first heard of the new venture called "Rifftrax" from the dvdverdict.com forums. Although I didn't sign up for the newly created rifftrax forum until a few weeks after it started (I'm still hitting myself), I purchased the first ever Rifftrax made available: Road House. I laughed until it hurt, although it didn't really hurt, because pain don't hurt, as we all know. And now you know the rest of the story.

Here's the basics on me:

- I firmly believe that popular music peaked with the release of Bo Donaldson and the Heywoods' "Billy Don't Be a Hero", and has been in a steep decline ever since.

Steve-O, up until Kelly Clarkson's poptasticular "Since U Been Gone", right? <---- greatest pop song, ever.   :)

- Ugg Boots were my idea. Well, technically, somebody else came up with the design, materials, and styling, but I was the one who suggested they should be worn on the feet.

Why, Steve-O, why?!?! Uggs are so gaudy. *shivers*

In 6th grade I punched a kid directly in the face - so far the only time I've ever done that.

:D

What prompted that? The only time I've ever punched anyone was in my senior year playing varsity soccer. I was mean on the soccer field.

Man, I'm going to sound pathetic.  :)

I was born in 1980, and frankly, as a child, I was pretty awesome.  I had long blonde hair that looked like I'd been surfing off the beach at Malibu, chocolately brown eyes that made adults give me whatever I wanted, and a really cool heavy-footed stomp I could employ when they didn't.  The teenage years kinda ruined me though: My hair went mousy, the eyes have dulled, but dammit, I can still stomp!   I have a big nose, a bum for a chin, and a mole under my left eye right where 18th Century courtesans would've put theirs.  Despite that, I'm not a troglodyte, though the only "serious" relationship I've been in confirmed that I'm probably way too selfish and in love with my own company to share it with anyone else.  My accent is strange, and I get mistaken for an American sometimes by people not from Bristol -- probably because I've either seen too many movies and it's changed, or the local accent is like that.  My voice is deep enough to tickle you if you're in my immediate vicinity.  I can be loud, obnoxious, funny, and dull.  I've also seen more movies than you.

I was born in the early 70's in Nebraska.  I grew up on a cattle ranch but, like Luke Skywalker, found myself daydreaming of being somewhere else most of the time.  I got my wish when I graduated from highschool in the top 1/3 of my class (which was tough since there was only six of us and two of the girls were straight A students).  I went to college in Lincoln (yes, the Cornhuskers) for four and a half years.  After graduating and trying a brief stint as a crop scout (toughest job you'll never love), I moved to North Dakota and worked at an experimental farm for a couple years.  Then tried getting a graduate degree at NDSU in Fargo but had to give up before I went totally insane.  Between the sunless winter and the crushing grind of trying to write a thesis about a subject no "expert" seemed to agree with any other expert on, I almost lost my mind.  I found it again and moved back to Nebraska to help on the ranch.  Then I got what I thought was my "dream job" working for the NRCS (a branch of the USDA that does conservation work on farms and ranches).  That was ok for about five years and I moved to Oklahoma to work at two different offices.  After about five years, they tried to make me become a supervisor which meant all paper work and no field visits.  I quit because what little paperwork I was having to do as a Range Management Specialist was too much to bear already.  The best thing to happen in OK was meeting my future wife through a couple who were coworkers of ours (mine the husband and her's the wife).  After dating for two years, we got married and moved to Las Vegas where we live now.  She's a kindergarten teacher and I work at a video game store (pretty fun most of the time).

I've been making fun of movies ever since I can remember, so when I first stumbled upon Mystery Science Theater on Sci Fi channel years ago, I thought it was pretty cool.  I've collected all of the Rhino Records DVD sets and am glad that Shout Factory has picked up the slack since Rhino seems to have quit making them.  A couple of years ago, I stumbled across Riff Trax and other than the trax mysteriously drifting out of sync with the movie, I love it.  I especially love the low prices and that different guys riff different movies.  Weird Al doing Jurassic Park was awesome.  I just got Empire Strikes Back with Chad Vader and am looking forward to hearing it.  ESB is one of my favorite movies of all time ever since I saw it when it first came out.  Still poking fun at it can be funny sometimes.

Thrifty

I was born in the wagon of a travellin' show.
My mama used to dance for the money they'd throw.
Papa would do whatever he could.
Preach a little Gospel, sell a couple bottles of Doctor Good.

The people of the town had several derisive names for us that I cannot recall.  We'd hear it from them, but still, every night, all the men would come around to lay their money down.

Steve-O, yours is the best so far. I have to agree with you about "Billy, Don't Be a Hero".

• I was born in Philadelphia and have lived in eastern Pennsylvania all of my life.

• My paternal grandfather was born in Rotterdam, my maternal grandfather was born in Frankfurt, and both of my grandmothers are from old Pennsylvania Dutch stock. I am about as Aryan as you can get.

• I am the fourth of four children, all girls. My sisters are 8, 10 and 11 years older than I am.

• I have blue eyes with green rings around the pupils. I am 5' 2" and suffer greatly from short man's disease. Outta my way, bitches!

• My uncle was a fishing boat captain down at the Jersey shore and we used to go fishing with him a lot.

• When I chew gum, I never throw it out. I always swallow it.

• I met my husband, Onil (APGIL), over the internet while I was still married to my first husband. Yeah, one of those things. Still love Onil like crazy, though. Despite the fact that he is a total jerk, he is the best thing that ever happened to me.

• Like any other parent, I'm very proud of my daughters. They are awesome kids and I want nothing more than for them to be happy in life.

• The best vacation I ever took was the spur of the moment trip Onil and I took to North Carolina last August. I will never forget it as long as I live.

• I work for a white-shoe Manhattan law firm. I have been here six years as of yesterday, the longest I have ever worked anywhere. I have, however, continuously worked all of my life since I was 16, even when my kids were babies.

• Our cat, Todd, is named for Todd Hillier, aka Fez from the Ron & Fez radio show. Both cat and man are equally mental.

• I write in RPGs. I have a few characters but my favorite and the one I write the most is a guy named Stuart. I love to write and have been asked if I do it for a living. I don't think I could -- too stressful. Writing in an RP keeps me sane.

• Unless it's a raunchy comedy, I generally hate movies. I can tolerate them in the theaters, but I can't stand watching movies at home.

• I make cards and have a blog/website about it. I haven't updated in a really long time, though.
