Edward, one of these days when we have RiffTrax New Zealand! or something, we'll let you know. Who knows, it could happen!

Maybe some of our fans in other parts of the world will want to organize something, and also be the ones to let the entire crew into their homes to put them up for the night, buy all of us lunches and beers, etc.

I really came off as bitter, didn't I?

Sorry, I know that it's not really economically viable to take such a show all around the world, especially when I know places like Australia (where I'm pretty sure MST3K never even aired on TV) aren't really making up a huge part of your fan base.

Still, Melbourne has one of the worlds largest comedy festivals, maybe you guys could bring a show there one year, though it's on the other side of the country, I think I could manage that! ;)

You guys already go above and beyond by actually offering PAL versions of the Rifftrax anyway, something that a lot of people wouldn't bother with.
FINE

I realize that RiffTrax will probably never do anything live in any other Country. And Canada hosts the Just for Laughs comedy festival in Montreal Quebec every year. So I understand what you are saying Edward.

I do hope that one day they will do 'something' on the East side of the US. I would like to think I could make an East Coast gig.

At least you Aussies get Weird Al on tour first. :^)

one question: are they ever going to have anyone funny on the TV portion of it?

I know, the TV stuff sucks.

RaoulDuke

is there any chance of a new rifftrax before the live show?

My prediction, the Rifftrax Live show will be released as a Rifftrax after the shows are over, and it will include the entire Film Crew.  Question, how did they get rights for the Rifftrax live?  The site lists they are doing a fairly recent Hollywood movie, even for crappy movies the rights are expensive.

Last seen together in Legends' Three Stooges collection, aptly enough.

I'm not positive, but I'm pretty sure they don't need rights to make fun of the movie live, (hell, people do it every day!) all you need to do is pay the screening fee to show the movie itself, which you would have to pay even if there was no one riffing it.  Just like any movie theater has to do.
