I am a bit scared at how much Bill looks like Larry and Mike as Moe.      :speechless:

Excellant work again sir.

I think you only have Lost and the Matrix Reloaded, then you are all caught up, huh?

I didn't realize how similar they looked until after I finished the cover. Now to the last covers!

What?   You dont have a template for cutouts with your steel ruler and exacto knife?

Well, you could always wait until you need to print out another cover, save the parts you cut off, overlay on the Swing Parade one, leave pencil tick marks every so often and then use the marks as your guide as you cut with your scissors.

Oh yeah.. That'll be much simpler.. :P

Ortega

when even i make a white background, i usually use the Stroke layer style in PS, and add a 2 pixel thick broder around the covers, whixh helps in cutting.

I'll keep that in mind next time for those people who use scissors... I'll probably make a small border tonight to help people on this cover.

Okay... I added a border to help with cutting of the dvd covers.  Just follow the normal link to my cover for the updated image.

On an off note, I've had more than few people ask how to print dvd covers out... so next I plan making a guide for those who wanted one.

Well, after reading this forum for awhile, and admiring all of you guys' great covers, I thought I'd jump into the fray and post my own. I'm a complete newbie, so please forgive me if the style offends. Since I've been using the MrTorso/Ortega/SharpMonkey style of covers for awhile, I thought I'd make this one in that style, in a loving homage to those fine gentleman's works.

Click the preview for the Full image:

There's a 5 pixel border around the image, to aid in cutting.

And here's a DVD Label in the same style too.

Like I said, I'm completely new at this, so if anyone has any suggestions/constructive criticism, I'd be more than happy to hear it. Oh, and MrTorso & Ortega, I hope you guys don't mind, but as I have 50+ Rifftrax reauthors lining my shelves with your covers on them, I didn't want to stray too far from that look.

Ortega

I use Mr.Torso's Covers up to Glitter, so i kinda borrowed the spine design from him as well.

Piobman

I used Mr Torso's and Bob's (formerly pslowner) covers before starting into the cover making business of my own. And of course josh way for my mst3k covers.
