As the old song goes, "I love a parade." However, this was undoubtedly spoken by someone under torture or extreme mental duress. Parades for most people evoke memories of the many raised welts, received at the hands of the crazed, hard candy-throwing Shriners tooling around on their infernally loud 2-cycle-powered magic carpets (man, they were sadistic!) These were almost always accompanied by Sousa, performed badly by teenagers in large fur hats (good Sousa is trying enough). And then there's the clowns. For the love of all that is good and holy, the clowns! A mind-splitting terror beyond anything cooked up by the foulest demons of Gehenna, clowns!!

Luckily, there are no clowns in Swing Parade—there are Stooges! With clowns, all is darkness and torment. With Stooges, all is goodness, bliss, and the occasional scratched cornea. And man, does this parade swing!

Mike, Kevin and Bill really bring the riffs, daddy!

In case no one has seen the comments in the Announcements thread, the sound mix is sub-par. The musical numbers practically drown out MK&B's riffs. I've checked all of the video formats; it's the same across all four. Any chance on a new mix?

This seems to have become a recent problem with your VOD files, noticeably, Playing Together and the Carnival of Souls 3-riffer (in which the organ music occasionally drowns out the riffs, but not as bad as the musical numbers do in Swing Parade). Have you recently hired a new audio engineer?

(Just so nobody gets the idea that all I do is complain, I really do like the new 3 riffer editions of the Mike-only movies. The interaction adds to the riffing fun.)

I am sure you probably have better things to do, but do you have an ETA on the remixed version?    I am trying to determine if I should burn my DVD now, or wait until the remixed version comes and then burn that one.

D'Oh, I didn't see there was a three-riffer edition until just now.  I'll have to get it later.  The Mike version had it's moments, but watching it, I kept thinking "man, I could go for a three-riffer version of this one"  Maybe in a couple months I'll pick it up.
