Ocean's Twelve.  Dear God, Ocean's Twelve.  I came in expecting it would be, you know, FUN?  Y'know, like the first one was?  Instead, I was "treated" to one of the most boring movies I've ever seen in my life.  It took all the worst aspects of what Eleven could have been (a masturbatory exercise in Hollywood self-indulgence, enjoyable only to the people who made it) and rolled it into one overlong, 2+ hour package.

At the same time, they took out all that was enjoyable about the first one.  An intriguing plot and scheme?  Nope, sorry.  We'll give you a FUCKING EGG, with the plan being "an old guy just fucking gives it to them."  Don't worry, though.  We'll give you a sequence of the snooty French villain breakdancing across a floor full of lasers to get an egg that isn't real (making the scene entirely pointless).  Oh, and Julia Roberts' character looks like Julia Roberts.  Isn't that HILARIOUS?

I want to hurt this movie, but I can never hurt it the way it hurt me.  That movie is two boring, painful hours that I will never, ever get back.

I'm a fan of Ocean's 12 and 13, mainly because I went in expecting crappy sequels and got funny sequels. But this is a conversation about hating them, so I'll shut up not.

Sounds like a subtle "outing" of Michael Bay? What with the growing and all!!!

Seriously though, without Mr. Bay., there would be no 'Armageddon' ,'Transformers', 'Transformers...2...3...'... some of which (IMHO) are (will be)  the most target-rich movies.

P.S. Has anybody riffed (or is planning to riff)  'The Rock', 'Bad Boys', 'Pearl Harbor'?

i just heard that she wanted to do it cause it would make the scene in the island more realistic, but bay didnt want to do it...but i could be wrong cause i dont really care too much about it...though it would be nice to see scarjo topless

It's unlikely she would have been showing anything. It was a PG-13 movie and I'm sure it was always meant to be. I can go without seeing ScarJo's backfat.
