Oddly enough, I started my love affair with GWAR... through the magazine.  I was offered a free subscription, and it was either that or Martha Stewart Living.  Who'da thunk it?

Well, there was more to that night than the GWAR show. Afterwards...RVR convinced Court and me to join him for a few beers at Hooters. RVR was hitting it off fairly well w/ the Hooter girls and asked me if I would take a photo of him posing w/ them. I obliged, but before I took the shot, I asked Court if she wanted in on it. She didn't want any part of it but was giving  me sass. So I took the shot w/ her in it, anyway...hence the look of death upon her face...



As you can see, Court & RVR are sporting "Team Edward" pins. We didn't want to be left out of the Twilight-craze, and we decided to create our own little following here on the Round Table. Current members besides Court & RVR are:

I had somewhat of a surreal weekend, would you like to hear about? I knew you would! Alright...

Let's begin:

On Friday night, I had Countdown w/ Keith Olbermann on in my living room while I was in the kitchen prepping a Shepherd's Pie, and I could have
sworn Keith was talking about our very own Dim. I had to sneak a peek, and not only was she on Countdown, take a look at the honor for which was bestowed upon her...



I caught the very end of the bit, and maybe Dim can elaborate for us!

On Saturday afternoon, I was gallivanting around and made a stop at the comic book shop. I misplaced my book #20 of Buffy: Season Eight and was in need of a replacement. So as I was perusing the Dark Horse rack, I couldn't find a copy of the variant cover I did own, but then finally came across the original #20. To my surprise, I can attest it's Tripe on the cover...



Tripe, I'm envious!

After my comic book run, I decided to get some take-out, and on my journey, I passed by the Pussycat. I looked at the marquee, and wondered if that was the Darth Geek sandwiched on it. I took a snapshot. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to find the original this morning but have a negative of it...

Finally, Kelly's people have been keeping it on the down-low, but we're no longer an item. Nonetheless, w/ me being a super guy and all, I decided to make her some cupcakes on Sunday. I ventured over to her place, and this is what I walked into...



She's obviously having a very difficult time w/ the break-up.


That was my touch w/ the surreal from this past weekend!

Oh, it's embarrassing.  I was sending him an e-mail, trying to give him a lead for Worst Person's, and I copy/pasted the link to the Grindhouse poster I made of him and O'Reilly, instead of a link to a news story I knew he would have featured.  Ah, well.
