From the trailer, I gotta say it certainly looks highly ambitious. Let's hope it does for video game based movies what Batman Begins/TDK did for the Batman franchise...

I think Kristin Kreuk is half chinese. Personally, I think the movie looks terrible. A good kind of terrible, though.

Good kind of terrible? The first one could be called "good kind of terrible." This is "Will anyone actually waste two hours to see something this dull and pointless, muchless waste the money and energy required to get to the theater, buy a ticket, and sit down? kind of terrible."

Looks cheesy... stunts not that exciting... will i watch it? Probably. Damn hollywood.

On a better note, here's a trailer for Chocolate which I would really like to see. No stunt doubles, female heroin, and it looks like it will kick ass. Street fighter should have been more like this... rather than kristin kreuk as a martial arts fighter. Nothing compares to someone doing their own stunts in fighting movies. Why not get someone who could actually do martial arts for this in the first place?? It's not like you're hiring her for her amazing acting abilities.

That sounds good to me! What I don't want to see is non-action in a movie named Street Fighter. I think that's what we're going to get.

Am i the only one who kind of has a soft spot for the old Street fight movie?

Sure it's cheesy but it is fun and on the DvD the Directors says that he was given two days to write the script and it had to include all the characters from the game,I think he did a good enough job given that.
