They haven't given an official announcement to when this will be released, so I didn't number it. We know it will be 8 at the soonest, but they've thrown curve-balls before.

Anyway, this one looks AWESOME:

And, hey, it's directed by Brain of Blood (AKA the Oozing Skull) director, Al Adamson!

I could be wrong, but this is the first time a blaxploitation movie have been riffed.  I think that means that racism is over.

Yeah, I was trying to think of another and I couldn't. (There's plenty of MST3K movies I haven't seen though)

I am really looking forward to it.

Thank you Obama, for making this riff possible.   ;D

From the e-mail:

QuoteFRIDAY 2/13 – "Blood of the Vampires" – One of our very favorite riffing films, soon to be our next release.  See it before it's unleashed on the world!

SATURDAY 2/14 – "The Dynamite Brothers" – A world premiere riff!  Come see CT delve into the seedy and hilarious world of "Kung-sploitation".

This will be the line-up next week in Boston at the Sommerville Theatre too.  We'll keep you updated throughout the tour as we choose the line-up from our unreleased "library".

I hope that is true that the friday show in Boston will be Blood of the vampires and sat. is the Dynamite Brothers... I have tix for Sat!

This movie looks great.  To my knowledge MST never tackled any blacksploitation or kung fu (unless you count Master Ninja).

Now that I think about it, Dynamite Brothers sounds like the inspiration for...

Yeah but they said:

Which is also a Friday/Saturday. That is why I am hoping that on Friday here in Boston they do the Blood of the Vampires and on Saturday like in SF they do Dynamite Bros.

Just wanted to mention that the showing in Austin was freakin' awesome. This will be a classic.

Looks like the new name is "East Meets Watts".

Sigh, time to change my WIP DVD cover...... and this thread title too!
