Per the request of another poster on a different thread... here is a menu for the re-authoring folks. This is drag n' drop friendly for dvdlab pro users. Just import with layers. 4x3 tv version only.... 16x9 would be kind of unneeded for this movie. I'm only doing menus per request. So if you want any menus for other movies... PM me.

Neat.

Almost makes me wish I reauthor

Well, I'm fixing to do menus for ALL Rifftrax eventually.  But, I'm not gonna try and convince you to accommodate all those just because I'm an obsessive-compulsive lunatic.  But if you have any already fabricated laying around, that would be nice.

I know the feeling... and I think PSLOwner can attest to this condition also. I did some old stuff... but it was pretty bad. I've gotten a lot better since that time. I'm sure I'll be doing/re-doing some as soon as I get back to re-authoring again. I'll post 'em in each respective board as I do 'em. In the meantime I'm still trying to finish my rifftrax covers... then quiptracks covers... then CT covers.

I think I need help for this addiction that is photoshop.

Obsessive-compulsive....... just because I have to have all my covers redone, put in thinpaks and sorted alphabetically....... and the rest of my DVDs are sorted by genre and have to have replacement covers...... does not mean that I am obsessive-compulsive.

Oh wait, maybe it does.

I'm reluctant to purchase any iRiffs or any Quiptracks, or basically any sort of riff that is not official Mike Nelson & company because I couldn't get just one; I'd feel compelled to do all.  I even deleted my RiffRaff Theater riff of Speed after mistakenly downloading it, just so that I could nip that whole thing in the bud.

I'm sorta tempted to do a few non-Rifftrax reauthors for products that have been twice riffed, like Jurassic Park, The Happening, Star Wars Episode IV, etc.,

for some reason I am having an issue with this, DVDLab Pro wont let me have each option play the movie AND select the audio track . . .it's odd

What do you mean?  Like, you want to place a selection that says "Play Movie with Rifftrax by ...." and have that launch the movie directly, with Rifftrax playing?  Or alternatively, have a selection that says "Play Movie without Rifftrax" (or whatever), and have that launch the movie directly without the Rifftrax commentary?

You can do that (it's what I do), but you have to use VM commands.  It's pretty easy, I can talk you through how to do it if that's what you want and I'm not misinterpreting.

Axnollouse

You are correct, its the VM commands I am having issues with

I'm going off memory here, so I might get a detail wrong in regards to exactly where you go to do something.  If so, I can double check when I get home.  Well, what you need to do is:

1) Go to the Connections screen.
2) Right click somewhere and select "Add VM Object" and add it in the VTS domain.  The VM object will pop up on your screen as a box with "VM" in the center.  I rename mine to say "Regular Movie" and "Rifftrax" to avoid confusion.
3) Right click on the VM command, and there should be an option that says "Edit VM Commands".  You'll get  a window that pops up.  I think it defaults to "Visual block editor".  You need to click the radio button that says "Script Editor".
4) Click Edit.
5) You should get a white screen where you can type in VM commands.  You need to add one command: setstn(audio=0).  Audio doesn't always equal '0' of course.  That number will change based on which track you're selecting.  It depends on what order the audio tracks are for your movie.  I always have the original audio as the first track, labelled '0', which I dragged in first.  Rifftrax are always the second track, labelled '1'.
6) Now that you have your VM command set up, you need to link to it instead of the movie from your main menu.
7) Finally, go back to the connections menu.  Using the "Draw Connections" tool, link from the VM command to the movie.  You'll want to link from each VM command to the movie.

What this does is basically tells the menu that, instead of going directly to the movie, stop off at these VM commands to find out which audio track to use.

If that was unclear, I can check again when I get home and post some visual aids.

Axnollouse

When I get home I will see if that works!

I might have missed a detail.  After you click "Edit VM commands", and you click the "Script Editor" radio button, there are 6 boxes, many of which have an edit button.  You have to click the top right, box 'A' of "Custom Pre-commands".

Since this was my first one, and it was rather rough, I decided to redo it.  Piobman actually designed most of it.  I added in the scene selection menus and accompanying text.

Main menu.
Chapter selection page 1.
Chapter selection page 2.
Chapter selection page 3.
Color selection menu.
Main Menu music. (AC3 format).
Chapter Menu Music. (AC3 format).

The music is the opening from the musical Rick Moranis version.
