I know this is being done as a farce, but UGH!  I thought that I'd scrubbed the images of the original from my mind.....  Sleestacks :gouge:

I'm actually looking forward to this.

I'm easily amused by bright shiny things and monkey people.
I'm all out for kicks...and every inch of me spells EXCITEMENT!

I used to LOVE this show as a kid. And if you can look past the cheesy production values and occasional terrible acting, there's actually some pretty decent sci-fi writing in there.

It doesn't look too bad.  I'm getting tired of Will Ferrell though.

Plastic Self-Cleaning Duck

Thanks for the warning.  I'll stay away from the theater that week.

The preview actually looked pretty funny, which surprised me.  I might go out and see this.  I was too young for the original series, but I did watch the 90's-era Jurassic Park-inspired remake.

Yeah, I guess I'm just a bit biased.  It's like nearly every farce in Hollywood has to star Farrell...

I wonder if this case has more to do with Farrell seeking them out or the producers going after him?

At least it isn't a sports movie...

Yes! I should really clarify myself a little better: I'm getting tired of the Will Ferrell "persona" that's been done to death over the past couple of years.  I thought he was excellent in Stranger than Fiction.

I'll add Seth Rogen to the list of personalities on screen I'm pretty sick of, too.

Hell, I'm getting sick of the whole Apatow family.

I keep hoping his next film will sink him-but it never does...

Add me to the list of Wil Farrell overload victims.    I guess you have to strike when the iron is hot in hollywood because you never know when producers will stop calling you.   But honestly, do we really need one or two movies a year when he runs around being a big dork.

I watched Zak and Miri Make a Porno on Saturday and, meh, that was not much.   I like Rogen and Kevin Smith, but that movie did nothing for me.   Maybe Rogen needs to stretch out and play different types of roles.
