I wish I wore a pair of glasses that made it look like my life was an MST3K episode(with the theater seats and crow mike and serbo)

I'm trying to parse this, and I can't tell if you're joking, or just forgot your meds, or what.

So the next riff is a month away.  We are now only getting a new track every 4 to 8 weeks?

No. Just because a couple come out further apart doesn't mean they all do / will / are going to.

Is the site shutting down or something?  Are movie companies  threatening to to sue?  Something is up here.

No, no and no.

The guys must be moving on to something else because there is no way that the site can support it's self with only 10 to 12 riffs a year. At least I would think it would take more then that to keep the site going.

I like that you at least took the time to think about your own question without doing any self-editing. Where do you get your information from to make conjectures? Even an educated guess is unavailable to you since you have no idea how much the business makes.

Maybe Mike needs to find some new partners who live closer if using Kevin and Bill is slowing things down.  Maybe something really big is in the works?

No, with all the live online stuff going on, theatrical events, regular releases, shorts, and overall general improvements to the site, we're really just sitting around counting the money.

I don't know all I do know is that something is up.

Again, you know this... how?

Sorry to go off on you here, Doc. I know you mean well and all. But as someone else pointed out, it's silly to go all "chicken little" just because the schedule changes. Mike and the guys are really busy writing. Writing takes time, and there isn't much overlap between "Writing is done" and "Product is released". It's literally within the space of a week that the script is finished and a final product is ready to go (although we sometimes don't release it right away; now and then it's nice just to have something "in the can").

Anyway.. I guess what I'm trying to say is, in the words of Tommy Wiseau, "don't worry about it."

No offense, but you can't really chastise speculation on subjects you're not forthcoming about. Everyone is free to guess at how a business can be run when successful people in this country have such a strange predilection for not disclosing their incomes.

If you're really incredibly annoyed with conjecture, you could be like most other sellers of wares and publicize your upcoming products more than a week ahead of time. But until then, "Doctor Who?" will continue to be presumptuous. Some people like the surprise game, but that one guy will always twist the unknown into suppositions that Rifftrax is planning to switch to selling tires.

And that one guy will always be Doc Who.   :D  Seriously, if someone is asking if the site is going under, place your bets that it's Doc.  But I think RVR put it much more "camrederier":

Doctor Who?

Look I have gotten used to the fact that the moment I become a fan of something it will get canceled.  it's happened with Futurama,it happened with the good seasons of Enterprise,It happened to red dwarf,It happened to Beter off ted.  I just can't get used to the idea that something I like is not shutting down, sorry.

Pak-Man

Congratulations, Dr. W. It would seem the universe is not conspiring against you. Proceed, unafraid.  :^)

I heard it was going to cost .99 cents per post and .25 cents per emoticon.
