New Moon and 2012 do have ONE common thread, though: a Rifftrax is the ONLY thing that would convince me to sit through either movie.

New Moon will probably get riffed eventually just out of sheer laziness. But 2012... that movie got pretty much ignored, didn't it? Might as well riff Surrogates. I used to watch every John Cusack movie I could find, and even I'M not interested in seeing 2012. And not because it's super bad, just because I don't even care. I'd rather see riffs for stuff that's bad or overrated than something that's just too dull to pay any attention to.

I think it will be riffed because of obvious demand and because they are in the business of making money.

What a hunk of BS.  The movie deserves a riffing more than Twilight and the guys seemed to be firing on all cylinders with the series.  Just because it's guaranteed money in the bank doesn't equate to laziness.  I'd put a facepalm pic here... if I weren't so lazy.
