I comment on bad movies all the time. And I actually have made better movies than the films I shoot down.

Oh please.  I don't have to eat a poop sandwich to know that it's gonna taste bad.

Isaac, your defense for thinking your opinion is more valuable than others is that you've made movies better than the movies you're critical of but you're not going to show them unless you're paid for them? Okay.

I don't think that my opinion is more valuable than others.

What kind of horror movies do you like? And Ernest Scared Stupid doesn't count.
This iRiff will only be on sale for another few hours. Get it while it's cheap!

even worse than the ill advised remake if thats possible.

I'll concur. It really is horrible.
this movie single handedly cured me of my desire to own all legitamate and illegitamate sequels and remakes to NOTLD.  after i sold this i was also able to jetison zombi 3 4 and 5 phew. (p.s. thos movies are horrible too if you want a few more suggestions)

Actually, I mainly don't.  Horror really ain't my bag.  But a buddy whose bag it most certainly is has shown me a couple that I liked a lot - one of them was Behind the Mask: The Rise of something or other, I thought that was really smart and fun.  And he recently showed me The Descent, which I thought was a really good movie, not just a really good horror movie.  I've also seen Salo and Cannibal Holocaust; pretty much want to build a time machine and Drano the directors' mothers' wombs over those.

Is any of that relevant, O Great One?

Only think I can think to suggest off the top of my head is Troll, which has the added bonus of coming in a DVD 2 pack with Troll 2, giving you the means to a Rifftrax, of course that's only if you haven't already bought it or the Troll 2 VOD or something.

Thin Red Line is quite possibly the worst movie I've personally ever seen.  You could try that one.

I would consider 'A Taste of Blood' to be one of Herschell Gordon Lewis's lesser outings.  It commits the worst crime a B-movie can...it's dull.  If you really want to enjoy some cheesy HGL flicks I'd recommend 'Blood Feast', 'Two Thousand Maniacs', the Gore trilogy, 'Something Weird', and if you dig Col. Sanders cameos 'Blast Off Girls'.

Even 'She Devils on Wheels' is better than 'A Taste of Blood'.

Gruesome Twosome is fun too. I saw it in a tiny, tiny art gallery that had a tiny tiny screening room on South Beach in the 90s and HGL was there to talk about it. He is a great guy to listen to.
