Plan 9 Problem

Hey all,

I just ordered the 3 Riffer Edition of Plan 9 From Outer Space tonight, and had planned to play it in the Rifftrax Player (using the Legend Films version of the DVD of course), but 'm having a weird problem.

Every time I press play on the DVD menu screen once the .riff file is loaded (I've been choosing the color version), it will start the movie but seems to freeze up at the FBI warning. The thing is, I can still hear the movie audio and the Rifftrax. The FBI Warning is listed on the Player as Title 2 Chapter 2, stays there for about five seconds and then it jumps to Title 1, Chapter 1 when the movie is about to start, like it's supposed to. But the video stays on the FBI screen. The Rifftrax appears to be starting at the beginning, but the time display always jumps from 0:00:00 to 00.01:38 when the chapter break occurs. I'm not sure if that's normal or not, but I figured I'd try and give as much information as possible. I've tried jumping ahead a few chapters and while the Rifftrax and the audio will adjust accordingly, the picture never changes. I played the disc in my stand alone DVD player and it played fine. There don't appear to be any obvious scratches on the disc either.

I watched The Happening a few days ago on the Player and that went swimmingly, so I'm not sure if it's a problem with the Rifftrax Player or my DVD. I doubt it's my laptop DVD drive that's the problem as the disc played fine in Windows Media Player.

I was looking forward to watching this tonight, but I'll make due with Mike's solo effort for now.  :)

Any help would be appreciated.

Coming soon to an iRiff near you.

I don't use the rifftrax player (since I'm on a Mac), but you could still fall back to the MP3 version if the rifftrax-player version won't work...
