Calling it a horror is a bit of a stretch, but you're right. I guess maybe they meant it to be a halloween release and didn't mention it? Or at least, if they did, I missed it.

I think Halloween "riffs" just as Halloween TV "episodes" that don't actually mention Halloween are imagined on the part of the beholder.
