question about iriffs

[mrderpg13]

I want to do an iriff or two for this website, but I just don't know how to do it.  I want to do it on a dvd I have, but i don't know how to turn the movie into a computer file.  I know how to get things going from there, so how can i get my movie from a dvd into a computer file?
