I'm getting a little tired of all these recent movies.

actually maybe not even just less new movies but how about less comic book movies.  i mean theres only so much a man can take.

Buck up, kiddo.  The guys have almost run out of them.  :)

Man, I can't get enough of the comic movies. If Rifftrax became a company that ONLY riffed comic movies, I'd be fine with that. :P
FINE

They have been some of my favorites, but Daredevil was the pits.  It may be the Ben Afleck Reaction Factor.  (B.A.R.F.)

I probably last saw David Lynch's Dune in 1990.  I will cheerfully concede that it may be worse than I remember.  In the context of its time, the movie did have its defenders, and I was one of them.  Admittedly, one could argue that if comprehending the movie required having read the book, then it isn't that good by definition.

I have seen the Uncut version, and I still don't really know what the hell is going on.  It is visually stunning though, and has a great cast.
On timeout

No they haven't.

2 Nolan-era Batman films
3 Burton -era ones.
1 Adam West Batman
2 Batman Movie Serial Series
5 Superman Films
Electra
Catwoman
3 Blades
Ghost Rider
Man Thing
Swamp Thing
3 Punishers (Lundgren, Jane, War Zone)
2 Hulks (Theatrical)
3 Hulks (Made for TV)
Howard the Duck
The Mask
Son of Mask
4 Hellboys
Sin City
5 Animated Marvel Movies
A Bunch of DC Animated Stuff

Not to mention the various TV shows, plus the stuff with superheroes that isn't releated to the main studios. (The Phantom, Rocketeer, The Shadow, Dick Tracy, The Specials, Condorman, Hero at Large, etc.)

They've got a lot of fodder left to tackle.

You put a lot of work into that list, and I hate to point this out...

Going by the "large number of people have to already own it" criteria, there's only a few viable candidates.  Sin City seems the most likely.

mrbasehart

Yeah, what I meant was comic book movies that they would be likely to do.  There are a few on that list that I'd welcome, though.

Ghost Rider, the hulks and Hellboy 2 would all be great.

I had Ghost Rider, the Hellboy series, the Blade series, Sin City, and the recent Hulk theatrical release on the short list of "usual suspects."

I just now looked up and saw X-Men 2 has been released.  X-Men 3 should probably be on the short list, too.

mrbasehart

They mentioned difficulties with Ghost Rider because of the apparent multiple versions out there.

Forgot about that.  Shockingly, there is also a director's cut for Daredevil.

I think Batman Begins and/or The Dark Knight would be far more likely to get riffed than Sin City

mrbasehart

Even though it's oh so riffable.  James' list missed a comic book movie that'd be good to see riffed (though perhaps in poor taste): The Crow.

Contrary to popular belief, Compound and I are not the same person.   :P
Imrahil: Don't care about Riding with Death.

Bob: Turkey.

Action Batch:  Woah, let's all mellow out and rap about this.
