I never liked the fact that it was based on the 90s version of the X-Men (my LEAST favorite iteration of the group), including the way the early 90s comics made Rogue fireplug-stupid. The presence of Gambit (the WORST character in over forty years of X-Men) didn't help.

Doctor Who?

For anyone who is interested Earth Final Conflict is out on DvD today.

The picture and sound are great and there are lots of extras, and it is only $30.

Doctor Who?

I'm watching it right now and it has aged pretty well.

It's only seasons 4 and 5 that jumped the shark.

It's a very interesting show and the SFX are pretty good for TV at the time.

Doctor Who?

Nah it's much better.

But it is one of those shows where you really have to watch every episode to follow what is going on.

Also seasons 4 and 5 were real stinkers compared to the first three.

the first three seasons are real good if you can take the time to watch them.

I only watched...maybe 5 or 6 episodes, but it seemed to me to be on par with the War of the Worlds TV series.

Oh, no....EFC was never my favorite but I won't allow that.  EFC had a plot and some appealing people (whether they could act or not).

That WotW TV series was the worse except for the Halloween episode.  Right up there with Galactica 1980 and V: The Series.

John Carpenter's They Live w/ commentary by JC and Roddy Piper.

I found this commentary to be some pretty entertaining stuff, but they never released it on region 1 DVDs -- Euro only  ???

Didn't this avatar used to belong to anais? It's very confusing seeing it on someone else.

anais?  not familiar...  I created this for myself, having recently been on a Sealab kick... anais has awesome taste, though  ;D

Right!  I'm going to have to stop this thread, on account of it's too silly.
