Quoteand in a truly nonracist world MERIT of skill would be all that matters.  although i really think johnny would make a more interesting lone ranger than tonto.

I reiterate.

Wow. Long time, no update.

Anyway, first photo released for the film.

Yeah, nice hat there, Johnny.

I love how pissed off Johnny looks in that photo.  ;D

I have absolutely no interest in The Lone Ranger anymore, but I was intreaged when they said he was going to be fighting WEREWOLVES in this movie! Um...are they still going with that? Pleeeeeease. That would be so cool.

I think the werewolves disappeared a few drafts ago. (Plus given how Cowboys & Aliens did, I suspect that Disney might shy away from the "weird West" type stuff and go more traditional.) Go watch Brotherhood of the Wolf if you want a quick fix of Native Americans fighting werewolves.

Blech. I didn't like Brotherhood of the Wolf at all.

I just hope they are not doing a wacky camp type movie like the pirates movies.  The Lone Ranger was one of my favorite shows when I was a kid and I don't think I could take that.

I checked the eyes of a man and wife who work on movies.  He was in the military and is brought in as an expert, and he's also an extra in a train scene.  His wife works in explosives.

They were nice, but seemed pretty full of themselves, talking about all the Hollywood stars they worked with.

Stunt people tend to be; they make their parts of set-ups work without trickery in post and they tend to be paid well to do it.
