The anti-Geogre Lucas and Star Wars comments are getting a bit tiresome.

Yet so, so deserved. ;D

1. Any mention of donuts when there's police on screen.  Does no one remember the treaty from Season 4? :D

2. The -o names in X-Men and constant repeating of Magneto and Cerebro.  It was funny the first time but the next four dozen were a bit much...

I must've been the only one who liked these. I especially liked "Mister...Maj--net-oh?"

I loved those riffs.  Especially the really mundane superpowers they have....
And "Cerebro? Magneto." should become the new version Marco Polo pool game.

I like "Attica!"  It's seemed very funny when it's totally out of place like the kids in the scene from Daredevil.

And in Pod People when they would go through that whole list of names and end with "Mcloud?"...I laughed harder each time they did it.

I don't even really know who all they're referencing in that litany but it's just funny.

I liked the recurring gag in Gunslinger about the guy's room being in the hall.

I loved the "Chief?  McCloud?" gag and the "Huzzah!" gags in Pod People as well.  Especially the final payoff from Servo:  "His last words were: Huzzah!"

If you note the inspiration for my username...

This is turning into the "funny recurring jokes" thread.  Which is fine with me, but I'm sure there must be one already in progress around here.

I'll do one unfunny one and then find my correct thread......
........
.....
OK....Only because I never knew who Larry Csonka was, the Final Sacrifice has a large gaps of unfunny-ness to it.  But that's not their fault.  I'm sure I'd find if funnier if I knew anything about that person or football or whatever...

Otherwise anything they seem to mention a lot is probably because it's so obviously disproportionate to the movie. Like the baldness thing in DareDevil. Every single character in that was either bald or balding.  It's worth pointing out......

Now then, where do I go to wax rhapsodic about recurring jokes?

Larry Czonka was the ex-football player that did the color commentary on American Gladiators

does that help?

I did find that out, though I didn't know about the American Gladiators part.

Yeah...that was one that just had a whole lot of references that I didn't get.
Sometimes, it's like that.

Well, there were a TON of things I didn't really get back in the MST days, maybe I was too young,

But Rifftrax seems pretty easy to grasp these days
