I think it's a bold move to riff a movie from Disney.  I was under the impression that Disney was lawsuit happy and that's why Rifftrax has avoided doing one for so long.

There is nothing Disney can sue over. Sixth Sense was released by Buena Vista which is a Disney property as was Dark Water and Cocktail and there haven't been any problems.

Any that we've heard about.  ;)

For all we know they've already sued, won, and had Mike replaced by an animatronic figure created by "Imagineers."

What ever gave you that impression?  I don't think we've ever mentioned anything indicating that whatsoever.

and more disney films?  Anything is possible

Yeah, there couldn't possibly be anything riffable in that...   ;D

Mike basically told me that at Comic Con when I asked him about Disney movies. He said that if anybody was going to sue Rifftrax, it would be them. Not that they would win or anything though.

What if (And I know it sounds nuts) Beverly Hills Chihuahua ends up being pure comedy gold. One of the best films ever made. Right up there with Monty Python and the Holy Grail in terms of cult following. :^)

Stranger things have happened:

I think it would be cool to have RiffTrax for some of the classic Disney movies we grew up on like Alice in Wonderland or The Lion King.

I'm personally hoping they don't do a RiffTrax for Beverly Hills Chihuahua because ... well ... that would mean that I'd actually have to watch the movie...

I'm thinking a Chihuahua riff won't happen for the same reason that Mike will probably never do Daddy Day Camp.  Whether they're good or bad, comedies are hard to riff.
I thought I was Dale.

On another note, I went into Petsmart to get dogfood yesterday, and they have an entire line of dog toys, clothes, treats and accessories based around "Beverly Hills Chihuahua."  The Apocalypse has begun.
mike5150 how tall are you?.....in gallons?

Amazing.  My weekend schedule just had a pet store trip added to it.
