Do you watch the movies 50 times to find them?

When I watch the movie, some obvious ones jump out at me and I make a mental note. If they are too obvious, I won't use them because I know other folks will put them on their DVD covers.
Then when I'm making the covers, I just scan through the mpg at about 4 times normal speed, and if I see something that catches my eye. If it does, I rewind and capture it.

I have been on a catch-up frenzy.... I have done 6 re-authors in the last week and now I am trying to get my covers done. I just finished the front of Iron Man and am now working on the back.

ya know, normally I wouldn't say anything if someone used certain aspects of my covers, like Logo treatments.  But using the special features box of the covers was kind of a blantant pull.  I don't mind someone using my style as a jumping off point, since i myself used Mr.Torso's covers as a starting point, but not straight up copying and pasting whole elements of what I've done.

you're right, i apologize.  i really like your covers and your style.  i basically wanted to use your cover but wanted to flip the front and back images and use the jolly roger as the cover.  i didn't intend to take credit for your work, it was just too beautiful not to use on the version i printed.  i only started doing my own covers because you and MrTorso were a bit behind and so i used your style to make my own.  i wasn't even intending to put this one up because it was pretty much just a reversed version of yours.  i'll just take that cover down.  no offense meant.
