"RiffTrax by:  (Dec 3 2007)
1960 / Dir by Roger Corman / Starring Jack Nicholson"
I dont remeber seeing Jack in this film....am I losing it or is this a typo / joke? ???

The "Starring" part is pretty much a joke, he has a very small role.  Next time you watch it, pay attention to the masochistic dental patient that Seymour "treats" while in disguise.

Didn't he star in another version of LIttle Shop of Horror?

I don't think so but Bill Murray played his character in the Movie based on the musical

There have only been two film versions.  One (made in 1960) which featured him in a small role (the one Rifftrax offers), and the 1986 movie version of the musical directed by Frank Oz  which didn't have any Nicholson but featured Bill Murray in the same part.

Edit:  Right, what he just said.

I must be thinking of the 60's version you talked about cause I remember seeing him on the cover of the VHS one day as a child.  Wow all this talk about him now I want to watch "The Shining".... :gouge:

Yeah, you advertise with what you have.  By the time VHS release was a possibility very few people really remembered the original film.  Pretty much the only things they had that seemed marketable were the title and the fact that Jack was in it very early in his career.  (I believe it was his third film)  So embellishing his role by listing him as the star seemed like a good idea at the time.
