i loved Bredan Fraser for a long time. Gods and Monsters, THe quiet amurican, bedazzled, the mummy, etc.

I even liked him in George of the Jungle.

That's past my line, but I still loved him in all three Mummy movies (he was basically the only reason I stayed for the whole duration of the third one) and in Dickie Roberts.
Fraiser was in Dickie Roberts: Former Child Star, too?  Damn.  I guess I do have to see that.

Anyone said Mrs. Doubtfire yet?  Or Liar Liar.  Yeah I like those, too.

So what black-hearted individual would have qualified those two movies as "that bad" to begin with?

Me I guess.  Mrs. Doubtfire makes me want to slit throats.

Whoa... let's hook you up with a machete and a "Meet the Spartans" viewing at the local mall and then kick back and watch the local news....

But yes, I can agree that Mrs.Doubtifre is not a great comedy... I just don't think it qualifies as "that bad".

It was just a cameo, but he cameoed as himself, and it was pretty good.

Although it did horrible in theaters and no one I know really talks about it, I like Mystery Men quite a bit. Could've been way better, but it's still funny.

Relaxing Dragon

Ah yes, Mystery Men; I loved that movie. It was my first glimpse of Ben Stiller, Hank Azaria, and William H. Macy (damn, I'd completely forgotten Macy was in this, actually)m, and it definitely a funny movie.

Pak-Man

Space Jam and Back in Action were both a lot of fun.

I'll agree on Back in Action (the product placement bit was simple, yet brilliant), but...Space Jam...uh...well, it had a decent Bill Murray cameo.

Cable Guy......funny movie.

I think the problem with Cable Guy was that it came out too soon for Jim Carrey fans to fully accept, as up until that point, he'd never really "gone dark".  If he'd made it a few years later, perhaps after the Truman Show and Man in the Moon, I think it would've been appreciated much more.

I always thought that the main problem with the cable guy was the inside jokes referenced from older tv series went over the heads of everyone who wanted to see a Jim Carrey movie.  I liked most of his movies while I was in high school and this was one of my favorites.

I liked Lady in the Water too.  And I actually didn't "hate" The Happening.  I thought it coulda been better but it was still better than a lot of other crap I've gone to see this year.

My pick that I absolutely love, that no one else seems too is Death to Smoochy.

I like lady in the water, although it has a taint of self-indulgence, and it views a LOT better if you've never seen an image of M. Night Shamalamadingdong.
Love doesn't hurt. It kills.

I don't think this belongs in this thread necessarily, but it being a kids movie some people probably shied away from it - Sky High.  I LOVE that movie.
