Why do they keep making these movies?

Now we have "Disaster movie" that looks like is headed down the bowl at hyperdrive speed.

So, why do people keep churning out these pieces of shit since they keep megaflopping?

Anyone got any clues on this? Haven't the makers noticed these movies die at the box office?

Epic Movie =  $86,844,745
Meet the Spartans = $84,558,676     

Plus the DVD sales.  These movies aren't bombing.  They have a low budget, and probably double the studio's investment.

He's right. These movies are rather cheap to make, and have a very fast turnaround. Unfortunately, they are the ideal movie moneymaker to studio investment ratio. Expect a lot more.

PARODY MOVIE~!

A send-up of Scary movie, Date movie,  Epic movie and Disaster movie.

SILENT MOVIE

The first minute and a half will be completely silent, until a midget steps up and asks, "Wait, what's the point?  We can talk!"  And then the movie will progress much like a typical parody movie, except louder than the typical movie (because the midget broke the fourth wall), with more gross overacting, and every so often, a few screens with some inaccurate lines printed on them.  Plenty of actors will argue with the people who put those screens up, as well, believe you me.

What will they parody?  Well, pop culture.  What, you thought they'd go after silent movies?  Nobody gives a crap about silent movies, man!  It's all about the talkies!  Hi-def, man!  WHOOOOOO!!!

I find these movies a lot like Martin Lawrence movies and (most) female comedians, it's not aimed at me and I don't get it but people seem to find it funny so good luck to them.

What's funny about all of our speculation is that, just by trying to bring ourselves to the writers/directors's level, each of us has come up with something more clever than they will put out.
