Tron

If Lucas wants to do something, he ought to forget star wars and redo THX-1138.

Given the way corporations are taking over the world and the lives of the people in it with their ever increasing invasion of employee privacy, I think a remade THX-1138, focusing on how people let themselves be reduced to nothing more than drones serving "the system" would be a great remake.

i still like the original thx a lot i dont think it needs a remake.  though his improvements added in the special edition were i think pretty good.

Gees! At least attempting half-assingly something 'NEW' (like creating Episodes 7, 8, & 9) would be much better ::)

Thank God! I thought that I was the only one around here that remembered that rumor back in the day.  Maybe if George has any progeny, especially in film school, they could carry on his legacy...
...oh wait...

Hmm...what's next for Star Wars?

Hopefully NOTHING.
Correction: the coat hanger should be upside down.

Doctor Who?

Yeah the trailer I've seen isn't filling me with hope.

The animation is the ugliest thing i have ever seen for one thing.

Count Dooku's face is almost as awful and the camel-vomit-slipper-head that Han Solo got in the crappy animation from the Star Wars Holiday Special.

Ah, get over it. The changes in the special editions (With the notible exception of the Laptinek song) were all miniscule and were just barely significant enough to matter. Some cleaned up special effects and a restored scene or two. The ones that really seem to irk people though are the ones that mattered the least (Luke screaming. Greedo shooting first,) and took up such a small percentage of time in the special editions it was silly to complain about them. How many movies do you go to and say, "It was awesome except there was this one-eighth of a second that bothered me." The special editions are still 99% pure Star Wars and that's fine by me. Bring them on in 3D.

Solo shooting second is a major character change.  That was the first experience a viewer has with Solo's character.  Plus how the fuck did Greedo miss at that range.  Totally unnecessary.  ....and why does he need to step on Jabba's tail.  Lame.

How did Greedo miss at that range? Um, dude, have you ever SEEN a fight scene involving storm troopers? x.X

The whole thing looks like they just made the animation from TSWHS 3D.
