Here's the cover art, just picked it up cheap at Wal-Mart ($7)
It's got Audio Commentary by Adam West and Burt Ward (Robin)

From what I read on the inter-webs, it seems to be identical to the previous release
I'm guessing since there is a Limited Edition Blu-Ray disc of the same cover and model
this is just the obligatory companion regular DVD release

but I'll update after I find out more info (and watch it)

feel free to contribute in any way

I saw that cover when the Blu-Ray was announced. What is the deal? Some days you just can't get rid of a bomb.

Maybe you need the bomb repellent Bat Spray?

This movie is NOT a bomb if you appreciate the comedy of the series.

The only thing that gets under my skin is this continuing insistance by Fox that they can't release the Adam West series because the agreements between them and DC (now Warners) didn't cover video release and they haven't been able to come to terms on who makes how much.....

Well, home video didn't exist either when this movie was made...and they've managed to get it out on DVD twice with no problem.

And meanwhile all this crap is holding up putting "The Green Hornet" out on DVD because of two ten second "Batman" clips that are seen on TV sets in that show.....

I love the 1966 movie. I was more referring to that dreadful cover art.

Pak-Man

The cover art seems to suggest that they're trying to unload it on an unwitting population who might think they're picking up the Burton flick. :^)

Yeah, I thought the same thing. Have look at how the 40s movie serials are packaged sometimes.

Sorry, my mistake.

Yeah, even if they're not trying to mis-direct it does look like they're trying to hide something.   :(

Okay it's campy.  It's fun, dammit!    :grr:

Doctor Who?

Yeah there is nothing wrong with the Adam West movie.

It's my second favorite Batman movie.

I actually like the cover art, simple, kinda goes with the other Batman dvds already on my shelf, yet the rounded logo clearly suggests to me Adam West Batman.

Picked this up on the way home this morning.  Loved the West/Ward commentary.

Maybe they're trying just trying to be funny.

If they were going for funny they'd have gone:

Doctor Who?
