I wasn't a fan of hers until Season Eight. She has really grown on me.

I was perplexed by the Angel sighting and believed Buffy couldn't use any character from Angel due to licensing issues. That was interesting.

Book 20...

Again, no surprise...I loved it, and the book symbolized what's missing in Buffy's present day...the lost connection with  the Scooby-dynamic for which again was presented in the opening panels segueing into the dream sequence. I'm hoping this is some foreshadowing into some Scooby-bonding before the battle w/ Twilight really takes off. A few other things...

- Jeanty's pencils were outstanding
- Buffy's dig on Cordelia was borderline harsh (possibly reflecting a hardened Buffy to some extent?)
- the book was a continuation of the animated series's leak. I was very happy with that.
- the Buffy/Joyce panels were very touching "But yes, you can always come home again."
- Buffy ending up in Xander's bed (is anything subconsciously in the works here? I hope so! )

And I agree Buffy, it was great to go home again.

"I really AM happy to see you" and so am I, I loved the bits with Joyce.

Also the exchange with Angel was great, especially Buffy's delayed reaction to just what he said, perfectly BtVS as seen through the filter of a Saturday morning cartoon show.



Soprry for the delay, the holidays prevented me from getting to my Android's Dungeon, so i finally picked it up today, along with four different issues of Dr Who. Can't wait for #21

The Buffy/Angel exchange was great, and I got a charge out-of-Buffy when she was trying to recall what exactly Angel noted during their conversating....that was cute. The only downfall from the book is we'll never see anything like this again in the Buffyverse. Oh, one last thing, I wish we would've had a Jenny Calendar sighting, the book would've been perfect then (in my very humble opinion, of course). But I'll make up for that...



I haven't checked Dark Horse's site in a couple of weeks but am somewhat sure #21 came out yesterday. I won't have any time to hit up a comic book store until Monday/Tuesday of next week, and is it really going to be about Harmony & her reality show, Harmony Bites? I've never been a fan of Harmony, but if that's the off-beat angle the book is taking, I'm very much looking forward to it. Howbeit, I'm very anxious to get the S8 arc moving again in February.

Harmony, Clem and Pomeranians, three of my favourite things. I picked up the more cartoony cover because the dog reminded me more of Dolly.

I finally had the chance to pick up a copy of B:21 on Tuesday and will get to it this weekend. I surely haven't forgotten about it, but my stupid busy schedule has been gettin' all in the way.

The book took me by surprise. I went into it with moderate expectations and found myself enjoying it very much. It's neat to have Jane on board (and Clem), and when did Harmony become even borderline formidable? What do you think Spike's reaction to Harmony's kill would be? 

Any symbolic significance of the unicorn's attraction to Dawntaur?
