I was hoping that Lego Rock Band would bring with it more pop rock DLC. Looks like that may be the case with the Kelly Clarkson and Go-Go's tracks (and the Bangles this week). All of these go on my "to get" list. Speaking of pop and/or rock DLC, did anyone else get the Spongebob 3-pack that was released last week? I threw it in at the last second when I bought the Lego RB export. The songs are really fun, if you like that sort of thing. Now I just need to keep on playing, cause I am still stuck on a medium skill level. I guess if I play enough eventually I'll get tired of the game on medium and move to the harder levels. That's what happened to me with the game on easy, it got too easy and boring. What kind of skill levels do the rest of you all play on? Do you jump right into a new song at that level, or try it out first at a lower level?

Heh, I beat every song in Lego RB on expert guitar on my first try, except for The Final Countdown, which took me a couple tries to get through the solo. But I've been playing Guitar Hero/Rock Band for years now. Once you get bored with Medium, try the "easier" tracks on Hard. The way I remember it, once you can get through the harder songs on Medium, it's not too far of a jump to do the easier songs on Hard. If that makes any sense at all.

Guitar & Bass I play mainly Hard/Expert. Drums I can handle Medium, and a few songs on Hard. (But not very well)

I play on Expert on all but maybe one or two tracks. If you're looking to move up from Medium, what I did was get good at Medium, move up to Hard on bass to get used to the 5th finger, and then try Hard on guitar. Once you get good at that, there isn't that much difference between Hard and Expert.

Expert on Guitar/Bass and Vocals. Hard with the occasional Expert on drums. My damned ankle just tires out too easily.
Also: Yay for another, better Go-Go's track!

Vocals on Easy (with Static vocals), Guitar and Bass on Medium, and avoid the Drums all together. Rock Band is a really fun party game but I prefer a casual approach. I have friends that can do the higher difficulties or drums. We only have two rules for 'Rock Band nites', singer gets to choose the song and dont be a mic hog.

That's a good idea since most times we have trouble getting someone to use the mic.

What do you consider to be beating a song? Getting 5 stars on it, getting 100%, or simply not failing out on it? I've been trying to get all the stars possible for each gig as I've been playing through the game. It's gotten a bit harder to do that since I leveled up. But I guess I'll get better with time.

Huh. I'm actually more excited for the Night ranger than I am for Nirvana. Although I think that I'll skip the 2008 song of theirs.

Is that the same recording of Lithium as in Guitar Hero 5?

Hey, Harmonix? Activision? Pay attention.
Microsoft's little karaoke game Lips this week has a Lady Gaga DLC pack, which includes Poker Face. Hint, hint.
