don't mention it. Btw, being stabbed by rob is a right of passage. Just don't be naive and let people fool you into stuff here. I'm lucky enough to have been here awhile and know the ropes so if you need help just ask me. But not for the next couple of days cuz I"m driving to Colorado....sideswipe and rob are meeting me to take me snipe hunting! WOO HOO! WATCH OUT SNIPES!!

I am muchly glad to be soooo, willkommened.

I have loved RiffTrax for a long while before I thought of actually joining the forum. As soon as I discovered it, I bought a ton of gift cards and e-cards for people I knew who liked MST3K, and a few who didn't knew what it was. Anyway, not too many of the people I know, it turns out, are as hopelessly fan-struck as I am. So... I've begun using their untouched e-cards for myself. -Laughs malevolently.-

Um ... maybe. But isn't the original pretty damn funny without any riffing? I mean, on it's own the movie's dialog is a laugh-a-minute experience.

Hi everyone,

As a long time viewer of MST3K, I'm really glad that Mike and the gang are doing RiffTrax now.  This method of sharing their comic genius with us seems to work pretty well.  I've downloaded many riffs now and find them really funny.  I'm also amazed that they let us upload our own riffs and even get a share of the profits.  How awesome is that?  When the server migration is done, I'll be uploading my first iriff.  I wrote and practiced the opening and closing bits a few times before recording them but my riffs during the movie are all unrehearsed off-the-cuff comments that I made while watching Unbreakable.  I tried writing jokes for the movie but I found that my spontaneous stuff was funnier.  I hope listeners agree. 

I saw the riff of Plan 9 From Outer Space at Sams Town Casino in Vegas.  The music acts were something I wasn't expecting but they were funny.  The hostess I'd never heard of wasn't very funny.  I got the impression she'd agreed to host the show at the last minute by the way she kept reading stuff from the folded up piece of paper in her hand.  Mike and the gang's riffs on the Flying Stewardesses and Plan 9 were epic though.  It was great seeing them perform again.  They are just as funny without the puppets.

I look forward to reading your thoughts and sharing a few of my own.
