Is it okay if I hate all sports?
And I hate their fans even more? Well okay maybe hate is too strong a word. Really, really dislike?
In that case, I really, really dislike people who think people who don't like sports are morons. I don't think they have any room to talk:

GEES!! Should I say something Hateful, or in a Difference of opinion in response?? RVR II, I think when we go to San Diego next year, we must point out the error of his ways. Over many, many, many pints of beer of course.

Ever seen the Irish play hurling?
MAN - that game takes major balls - I visited Dublin with my dad and we watched the All Ireland Finals on tv. They were knockin' each other around like rag dolls - body checks and everything.

You guys are talking small-time idiocy. I'm in Nebraska! When the Cornhuskers won the NCAA title in 95, they tore down the goalposts at the University of Nebraska.....at Kearney. The Cornhuskers are from Lincoln, NE. My college fees went for repairing the goalposts.

And people make fun of Trekkers, etc..... Ever seen the Irish play hurling? That's "legalized murder" in Ireland, isn't it?

Then you fellows have never known the majesty that is the English Football League. Or watched a 5 day cricket test between England and Australia (especially the few in which we win).
I'm with you on the cricket (unless you were being sarcastic in which case ; Cheeky bugger cricket's boss ) But football always left me cold I like Rugby (League and Union) better oh and field hockey but only when the girls were playing it at school. Now as to other sports I like to play and would if I could find a league in Detroit Ever seen the Irish play hurling?

That'd be one, Gaelic football would be the other, but hell I can't even find a cricket team here.

No way, I love cricket. Especially as England has a team that doesn't suck at the moment. It's a pity the shitty summer kept India in the match in the first test. One wicket left with almost 4 hours to play, and yet bad light and rain saves 'em. Lucky bastards.

ESPECIALLY NFL Football.
I'm lucky that I'm female, because I don't get too much crap for hating football, but I'm pretty sure that I'd be lynched if I weren't. Wisconsin is definitely a state that is BIG on football.

Family are made and broken by football rivialries. I know guys who watch football even though they hate it, just so they can say, truthfully, "Yeah, I watch football." So sad. *shakes head* Though I hate most sports, I will claim an affinity for what is arguably the most boring (popular) sport currently in existence: baseball. Though only because I'm a Chicago Cubs fan, which I inherited from my mother. In another thirty years, I should have inherited the other curses from her side of the family: cancer and diabetes.
