Just stopped over at mst3kinfo.com and saw they had a news story that Sony is patenting some newfangled technology that will allow you to post up avatars onscreen, which may allow you to screw around with whatever you may be watching or playing at the time.

In other words, you can put yourself onscreen during movies or games, and do things like throw tomatoes, pick noses, etc.  If what they're saying is true.

I posted here since it's video game related, but if this thing works and delivers on its promises, I could the potential for Rifftrax and iRiffers to start doing a lot more than audio tracks...
