Do I sense another Wii owner in my midst? I should have known.

Great. Now I have to obsess over the release of virtual console games AND a 20 questions Rifftrax game!? Darn this technological age with its many fruits. :^)

So, torgosPizza, how do you think the new servers will fare during this 20 questions? Think we can break it again?

;D

Unfortunately I experienced some technical issues this weekend (none of them turkey-induced, btw) so we are still on the old server. However this week the change will, in fact, be made - so the next time we'll see how well they sustain our user traffic.

Also it's not the 20 questions that broke the site, it was that insane game of Scorched Earth* we played with our forum visitors :)

*Not actually the game we played, but it felt like it. Does anyone else remember S.E.?

I say bring on the insane puzzles / wild website goose chases but that's just me. I'm pumped for these 20 questions games too.

mrbasehart, dont you ever go to bed?  ;)

Pfft! Sleep is for the weak and mentally stable!

If I do nap, it's in front of the computer, pantsless, my hand permanently glued to the F5 key.

Picture that, won't you?  ;)

First time I've ever heard it called that.

No, but I remeber playing a game called, "Where in the world is Carmen Sadiago?", on an old Apple IIc

Should we consider moving all this 'discussion' to a secondary thread, as we talked about during the last quest? Just remembered that was something we tossed around as a way to keep the real thread uncluttered... or does it really matter since this is not quite as intensive as the crazy games?

I loved Scorched Earth.  That damn wind!  I always ended up shooting myself.

I used to play that one a lot.  I think I played it on an old mac.  It could've been the Atari I used to have a LONG while back, but I'm probably thinking of Moon Patrol (which also rocked).   ;D
By the way, I was being sarcastic.

Yeah getting the trajectory right was always a problem. A friend of mine from Elem school and I used to play Scorch and Tank Wars a lot. Good times.

All right, here's my question.

Was it made in the 2000's?

The Tick

Computer games don't affect kids; I mean if Pac-Man affected us as kids, we'd all be running around in darkened rooms, munching magic pills and listening to repetitive electronic music.
