On a serious note.  I was just checking Amazon.com and the Moreau they have on there is 100 minutes, while the PAL one is 92 minutes long.  Surely that's too much of a difference?  Am I gonna need to get the NTSC one?

Region 1 only got the directors cut (the triple pack with Dark City and Hidden that just came out is also the director's cut version). The other regions only got the original theatrical release.

So I need to get the NTSC one? That's fine, they're both about the same price from Amazon marketplace.

I have hit ebay, deepdiscountdvd.com, and ALL copies are the director's cut...this may be a problem.

That's the one to get man... torgosPizza said the PG13 answer was about the theatrical release but the riff is on the director's cut.

But, Dr Moreau is the worst of the lot of all the rifftrax in my opinion, hell give me crossroads anyday of this stinkburger.....

crossroads was the best rifftrax so far, in my opinion.

Having seen this movie before, I do recall it having grotutous half man, half beast sex, although I was quite a bit younger at the time and I'm not sure how bad it is by today's standards (and I think roadhouse has it beat). Maybe i'm wrong?

I completely agree, although I have no problem with NECESSARY half man, half beast sex (see Crossroads).

Usually I don't feel this way, but I am really glad I missed this 20 questions.  It was fun to read through, full of drama and anticipation, but I wouldn't have enjoyed experiencing it.  Thank you mods for the second chance.  Now I just need to find the time to watch the second half of LOTR so I can return it to netflix and get Dr monroe.... mourough..... mouuoughe..... whatever.

QuoteEDIT: By the way, how come when we gave you a good movie such as LOTR, it was "I think they should stick to bad movies" (as was the majority of opinion) but then when it's a really crappy movie like Moreau, you wish it was a good movie? Make up your mind, people!

The answer I've learned working in a retail environment: People like to bitch.   ;)
mike5150 how tall are you?.....in gallons?

Marlon Brando's first Rifftrax appearance...first of many to come! Second for Val Kilmer, should be great.

Don't get me wrong, Mike performance on Crossroards was amazing. My point was that Crossroards is not a good film at all (aside from the near naked Britney shots).  Watching Dr. Moreau is a grueling experience, to say the least.  I have all the faith in the world in Mike and Kevin (and whatever other writers that are on the Rifftrax staff) in really doing a bang up job.

BTW - If I missed it, I apologize.......but did they announce the release date of this Trax?

Haha, me too. But getting the 16 DVD Monty Python set for $55, makes up for it I think.
