Is it widely obtainable? I haven't seen that dvd on the shelves since 6 years ago.

Netflix has it, and they don't even have "Point Break." (I STILL haven't managed to get hold of that one.)

Point Break is on a LOT lately on digital cable! My roommate told me it was on and I went "Woah!"

PlayMSTie

Don't have digital cable (as my cable company reminds us incessantly, blast them). Thanks anyway.

Bring back Bridget!

Phantom of Krankor

I am Ambassador Phantom, from the planet Krankor! I am rapidly approaching your planet... in the warship, which you have just seen. I will arrive tomorrow night at precisely eight o'clock. At that time I shall make my wishes known to you. You will obey them... or die! HA! HA! HA! HA! HA! HA! HA!

Nubule

Since I think was actually the first one to guess Island of Dr. Moreau wayback on page 12, I'll put my humble newbie vote in for that one, too.

Pak-Man

OK. Unless someone has another movie that fits the bill, I say we guess.

David

I found it on Amazon, but only the "unrated director's cut" which isn't PG-13 anymore... hmm

mrbasehart

I suppose it could be Moreau then...  Not entirely convinced though.  But I'll endorse a guess with the majority.

What knocked Congo off the earlier list btw?

Seems like a good candidate too...

Wrong species of antagonist, wrong time period.

David

Who posted the shortened versions of the first 49-movie list? I kinda want line-by-line reasons for each elimination.

Pak-Man

OK. I give the board 10 minutes from this post to come up with a better answer than Moreau. If we don't find it, we guess.

Maybe they just figured that most of the Rifftrax fans would have MST3K the Movie already and it would be a nice Xmas gift to all of us?

I've seen Moreau before, and it is sooooooo boring!  I don't know if I could get through it again.

Sounds good.  I'll get searching.
