Immolation - Here In After

The second Immolation album, and last to feature the original logo. While the music is undeniably created by Immolation, I find it interesting how their sound changes unlike many of their peers (and followers) in the death metal scene. This is an essential album to own, but only after you've picked up their 2000 release, Close To A World Below.

I'd say Whalberg definately qualifies as really good.

Dr. Octagon - Dr. Octagonecologyst

Absolutely essential hip-hop disc. With production by Dan the Automator, rhymes by Kool Keith and Scratches by DJ Q-Bert, how could you go wrong? This is one of those discs that I keep listening to on repeat, finding something new to enjoy nearly every single time.

Brutal Truth - Sounds of the Animal Kingdom

'Prey' alone is worth the price of admission to this masterpiece of grind.

Immolation - Close To A World Below

I keep playing this album OVER AND OVER AGAIN.. and with good reason. Blistering twin guitars that flow like lava, a beautifully-recorded drumkit and the dry, intelligible rasp of Ross Dolan. There are a few cringe-worthy moments, but they are remarkably few and far between and are more than overshadowed by the great parts.

Pestilence - Consuming Impulse.

The last album to feature Martin Van Drunen on vocals and arguably the best (and most aggressive) Pestilence. Going back to the vocals.. jesus h fucking christ... what a superb aspect. If you want to hear what death metal vocals should sound like, look no further than this landmark release.

On timeout

a pretty girl is like

Nice, bta!

I love love love Cibo Matto.  Probably one of the funnest live acts I've ever seen.

This is one of my favorites:

I'm all out for kicks...and every inch of me spells EXCITEMENT!

Yeah I love them.  I taught my 5-year-old sister the lyrics to this song.  Hearing her sing it was funnier than the song itself.

Thanks, but I'll stick to a thread that doesn't have the chance of being deleted at your whim.
