Anyone else getting tired of the super-recent movies?

Oh, yes

Maybe they are getting set for a major promotional push for Rifftrax and want the thing loaded with as many recent movies as they can?  Or maybe the newer flicks sell better than the older ones?  Or maybe Mike, Kevin, and Bill just prefer doing the newer movies?  Who knows?

Not that I am complaining, I'll take whatever Rifftrax I can get!   ;D

Lady Kitsch

The more recent ones obviously make money for Rifftrax, so I accept the necessity for a lot of new films.  Still, I Am Legend has a nice mixture of super-seriousness combined with goofy monsters that should make for a good blend.

At the very least, we should be getting an older movie (Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom) in the next month or so.  I hope!

Good job Funnyman!  Haven't seen it, but I'm game.

Thanks. My brother loves this movie and he's going to be happy when I tell him what the next Rifftrax is.

Not to mention that train wreck of a third act.

I think it's our right as the purcheser of their product.

There is probably good financial reason for the movies they choose.

Wow, there are a lot of people standing up for I am Legend?! I mean it was okay, but it could've been so much better. The bad CGI, the plot falling apart at the end, about the only thing that made this film watchable was Will Smith (I'm a fan of most of his movies  :P )

Well, sucks for them, as I have no interest in this.

You know, I won't contest the film choice, because I haven't seen the movie, but

was the 20th century really that long ago?

Well, of course! That was like what, 100 years ago? Hell, even films that came out past a year ago have probably disintegrated by now!

Oh, and as for the movie choice itself.... :sigh:...

Anyone else starting to think that they choose what movie to riff by opening a salespaper and finding out what DVDs come out that week?
