I can't imagine -drinking- peanut butter. That'd be like...I dunno, a toothpaste cookie or something.

Well it is blended with bananas and kefir and berries, it's not purely peanut butter.

So God is George Washington Carver?
If I knew who he was when I was a kid he would have been.  I used to love peanut butter.
Used to? God it's still one of my favorite things, I'm so glad I'm allergic to pineapple and not peanuts.
All I can say my tastes changed.  Coincidently I eat a lot more pineapple nowadays for lunch at work . And I developed a taste for wine.  Well,  not at work of course.

Oh I like the taste of pineapple, I simply like unrestricted airways more :)

I've done it.  Went to an ice cream place for a chocolate peanut butter milkshake, and they forgot to put the chocolate in.  It was like drinking peanut buttery mud.  Probably not exactly like drinking peanut butter, but still one of the grossest things I've ever had the misfortune of drinking.

I love peanut butter milkshakes.  They are my favorite guilty treat.

Blech!  But I'm boring.  I only eat vanilla milkshakes.

Now see if we mated we would create a gene pool of peanut butter milkshake liking humans.

Oops gotta go...

Damn how thick are those milkshakes?

Well, what do you do to a milkshake?  Drink it or eat it?

Really? I can't think of the last time I even ate peanut butter.

Then may I suggest an experiment? Next time you're feeling uptight and contrarian (be honest; this is US you're talking to), have yourself some peanut butter, and see if your mood doesn't brighten almost immediately.

We've had a jar of organic peanut butter in our fridge for just over four years now. I keep hoping to see organisms evolving in it anytime I pop the lid off, but no dice. Far more disturbingly, it's still good after four years in the fridge.  :P

I'm not a big fan of the organic, natural peanut butters.  The texture and taste is kind of gross.  I like normal peanut butter.

We thought we might like organic peanut butter, but...well....it's been in the fridge for four years.  ;)

If you mix it well and refrigerate it, I've come to prefer all natural peanut butter (smuckers doesn't count.).  I had no idea there was such a thing as 'natural' peanut butter until a few months ago.  It took some getting used to, but I'd rather my body return to the earth as quickly as possible once I'm gone.
