I miss the Screensavers for real.  I loved Leo Laporte.  Patrick Norton was great too.

Gish... I must be honest, while I used to watch the screensavers, I just wasn't that huge of a tech nerd (or any kind really), and eventually I stopped watching. Hmm, could that have been around the time that Morgan left? Naah. I didn't even watch AOTS till after Kevin Rose left, so I was in the dark about where TSS went. I didn't like the G4 merger at first, but I must admit it was smart to get rid of the old guys when the audience is so young and not that heavily into trivial registry hacks. I mean, it's the empire that Leo built, but it's kind of like KFC. I don't need the Colonel making my chicken. But I do need everything mashed up and shoved into one big bowl.

A few days ago FEARnet got the chance to speak to director Uwe Boll and asked for his thoughts on the petition going around to stop him from making movies. At the time, the petition had 18,000 signatures. Boll was not impressed by those numbers and said that he would put an end to filmmaking if that petition ever reaches one million.

After all the major movie sites spread this news, the signatures skyrocketed to over 135,000, with the one million goal looking very achievable.

As result, Boll has now made a video statement, telling his fans and haters that he is the only genius in the business and that he would love to see a pro-Boll petition, which he believes could easily get one million signatures as well. Here is a clip from his statement, which you can see in its entirety below.

"I am not a f*cking retard like Michael Bay or other people running around in that business. Or Eli Roth making the same sh*tty movies over and over again. If you really look at my movies, you will see my real genius. And if you go on May 23 and 'Postal,' you will see that I deliver a movie what nobody else delivered in the last ten years. What's is way better as all that social critic George Clooney bullsh*t what you get every fucking weekend. So you really have to wake up and you have to see me what I am. I am the only genius in the whole f*cking business."

Boll has previously directed "House of the Dead," "Alone in the Dark," "BloodRayne" and "In the Name of the King." If you are tired of seeing films like that, click on the link to sign the petition. Or you can just not watch his movies.
