Zalman King Flicks: or Where did all my Soft-Core Porn Go?

I seem to remember a time back in the old days when movies like Wild Orchid, Red Shoe Diaries, and Doing it allowed teens to learn about promiscuity through the soft-focused lens of true artists like Zalman King.

Whatever happened to such crap and why isn't it being made anymore?  It is a true disappointment that the late night section of my HBO on demand only broadcasts Cat House and not the effervescent beauty of Two Moon Junction.  Have we as an audience moved beyond such nuanced performances by the likes of such actors as Joan Severance, Carrie Otis, and yes, the orange flesh color of a Mr. Mickey Rourke?

Thoughts?  Comments?  Concerns?  Unused Zoloft Pills?
