The Greatest Movie Ever: Nominations

[Relaxing Dragon]

Theoretically, we're into the voting stages now. I say theoretically since it seems progress on them has come to a standstill.

[ImOscardotcom]

Actually, since the voting currently seems to have gone to hell, why not just post lists of our favorite films? You can add films you forgot about or hadn't seen when you made your list the first time, you don't have to worry about listing films already nominated, and those who didn't get a chance to post their list now can.

And it might tide us over until (if?) Greg (ever) starts the voting back up.

[organs]

Ah.  Well, I just thought I'd post my list anyways.  I don't intend to win anything, just wanted to say hi and say what I liked.

[Relaxing Dragon]

Nuttin' wrong with that. And you've got The Thing on that list, so you'll hear no arguments from me

[D.B. Barnes]

[Asbestos Bill]

I'm looking forward to Frost/Nixon

...and he also tastes nothing like Nixon.

[bratpop]

I'm pretty sure they both taste like smoked ham, so I think you're wrong there.

[Thorns of Crimson Death]

I'm looking forward to Frost/Nixon

Me too, even though that guy looks/sounds/acts nothing like Nixon.

...and he also tastes nothing like Nixon.

They should have just thrown Frank Langella in the old Skeletor make-up/cosutme from Masters of the Universe. THEN he would have looked more convincing.

[THE QUEEN!!!]

I'm new here as well, and I don't know if the voting is still happening, but I'm putting my top 10 list up anyway. This isn't necessarily the top 10 greatest films of all time, but these are my top 10 favorites (though 10 isn't enough for all my favorites) in no particular order:

THe Apartment
12 Angry Men
It Happened One Night
Remember the Night
Seven Samurai
Best Years of Our Lives
Stalag 17
West Side Story
7 Brides for 7 Brothers
The Manchurian Candidate

wow, that's already 10, and To Kill a Mockingbird didn't make it this time.  I have about 75 movies in my top 10! I need more genre related contests, like Top 10 Greatest Animated Films or Musical Films or Scary Films, etc.
