We can wait a while longer for the next riff. In the meantime, catch up on some of the riffs that you may have missed in the past. There are some really great ones that I'm sure many have overlooked.

While I don't think they "Owe" us anything, I wouldn't go this far. Rifftrax is a business and a service. I'm a diehard fan and I'll wait, keep checking, and count my blessings, but there are probably more casual users who will only check back so often. Non-die hards will lose patience and stop checking back. I'm not an economics expert by any means, but there is no way rifftrax makes profit on just the folks who utilize this board alone. It needs the general fans.

I'll keep waiting, but let's not just give Mike and the guys a pass.

I partly agree. I don't think they're doing me a favor by letting me and people like me pay their bills and support their lifestyles though. They're making a product I enjoy, true, but one can only assume they're making a profit off it. That's not a "favor."  If Mike were to come to my house and riff my dog just because I was a fan and asked him to, that'd be, well, weird but more like a favor.  My poor dog wouldn't think of it as such.

As the producers of a product, they have expectations and things that they do owe consumers, like any product.  You are "owed" that if you purchase a coke 12 pack it will indeed contain 12 cans of coke and every can will be filled with so many ounces of a liquid that will indeed be coke.  The ingredients stated on the can will be as such, etc.

I don't think timeliness is one thing they "owe" us though.  If they had said, "We guarantee a new rifftrax every week." They would owe us that. I seem to recall an ad that said almost every week, but no promises.

I sent my DVD back Saturday, and Nothing was sent out Monday. Then Tuesday, I find out that my 'next in queue' is being sent from Washington and won't arrive till Saturday

I like the shorts and all but it's hard to have a Rifftrax evening with a 10-15 minute short.  By April first last year we had 9 full rifftrax, and the 10th announced.  This year we have 5 full rifftrax (1 they didn't write, and one that was a nearly finished script that they just reworked.)  And I'm sure I'm not the only one who can't catch up on riffs that I've missed.  I've already seen them all.
