I saw this movie tonight and I liked it. Colin Ferrel actually acted for once. The movie was kind of sad though. I don't want to give any spoilers out, but I can say this kind of thing wouldn't happen if people made regular visits to their local Aperture Science  Enrichment center.

I have to agree. In Bruges is a film that is surprisingly deep and introspective and unexpectedly satisfying. Not satisfied with making a simple comedy, McDonagh tosses into his Irish hit-men story themes of repentance and guilt, heaven and hell, forgiveness and affirmation. The humor, of which there is plenty, is deliciously dark and comes in just the right doses. The dialogue is all very natural, the performances are great. Farrell and Gleeson do a wonderful job. They are both extremely fun and interesting to watch. All in all, I really liked it and would highly recommend it. It's only a couple months into 2008, but In Bruges is the best movie I've seen this year.
