Revolutions is a fine third act for The Matrix, but in and of itself it is without story. Reloaded can be skipped based on its stupid title alone. You could scarcely edit the sequels together to salvage anything. There's not much to work with.

Oh!  And I'd like to sign up for "The Wizard" getting riffed, too.  "It's so bad."

Thirded...

Bottom line -- we love the sci-fi and action. They make for great riffing material, but it'd be nice to have a break every once in a while.

The riff for Nestor is one of my favorites because it is so different from anything they've done before. Mike was able to pursue entirely new avenues of comedy because he was dealing with a completely different genre -- different riffs present themselves. I think the same goes for Glitter. It was just so different, it was refreshing.

Well there should be plenty of shorts to keep things "varied" in the near future.

Minnesota

Cool. This is HIGH on my list. Rifftrax is pulling out the Aces with these last couple releases.

This one should be a classic.

Any updates on a RifTrax Shorts Vol. 1 DVD in the near future?? :o

Pak-Man

Well the Matrix remains one of my favorite Rifftrax ever. If they can keep up the energy from the first in Matrix Reloaded, we'll have pure gold. :^)

I'm with stupid...I mean, stupid's with me.

What I'm trying to say is, I like variety too. Also, I have noticed that allot of the rifftrax releases tend to by sci-fi. Of course sci-fi can be translated differently. Some say sci-fi is only space stuff. I'd rather use sci-fi for anything that is 'make-beleive'...like super hero flicks and for stuff like the Matrix or Lord of the Rings...heck even Bond movies are sci-fi to me.

So in this definition allot of RiffTrax are sci-fi in my books. But then again, MST3K had allot of sci-fi too and no-one complained about their choice of movies.

I think you will find that RiffTrax has the most variety out of any Riffing organization (ie- Film Crew, Cin Tit, MST)

I wanted to see Revolutions get riffed from the word go, and it's gonna happen!! Personally, I liked the Matrix flicks, but I absolutely HATED the merovingian. During that whole scene in the restaurant, with the entire tedious "cause & effect" bullshit, I was saying to myself "Please, will someone just get up and HIT somebody?". What the hell does the merovingian do other than make orgasmo-cakes and act french? And nice job of the Wachowski's making Neo look like a perv when he uses his "matrix-vision" to check out that blonde's vajayjay.

Very much looking forward to this!

Phantom of Krankor

I am Ambassador Phantom, from the planet Krankor! I am rapidly approaching your planet... in the warship, which you have just seen. I will arrive tomorrow night at precisely eight o'clock. At that time I shall make my wishes known to you. You will obey them... or die! HA! HA! HA! HA! HA! HA! HA!

Rod Hilton's abridged script site had a good one on him, when they get to his nightclub in Revolutions

QuoteThey proceed into the club and are met by LAMBERT WILSON.

LAURENCE FISHBURNE

You run a *&$#ing nightclub?

LAMBERT WILSON

Are you kidding? Did you see what my orgasm cake did to that woman in the restaurant? I make four hundred bucks a pill selling E here.

LAURENCE FISHBURNE

Well, we're here to get Keanu back. Give him back to us.

LAMBERT WILSON

Fine. But first, you must kill the Oracle. That, or fight your way through my army of candy ravers.

RAVER

Oh my god, it feels soooo good to rub my hands against my backpack right now! Hey, does anyone want a massage?

CARRIE-ANNE grabs a gun and points it at LAMBERT'S HEAD.

LAMBERT WILSON

What do you hope to accomplish? You're totally outnumbered here.

CARRIE-ANNE MOSS

Look, I think we've tested the audience's patience enough already. Just give us Keanu and let's get on with the movie.

LAMBERT WILSON

Sacre Bleu!
