There were parts of this show I predicted (or perhaps were just hoping for among the many possibilities) and parts that I was completely surprised by.

Is the Barrel Box set Blu-Ray or just DVD?   I think that might influence whether or not I pick it up.  If they're Blu-Rays I'll totally get rid of my individual seasons.

Oh, did anyone else spend the last few episodes trying to find the possible way to link the show with Malcom in the Middle?  My wife and I saw to obvious ones.

I've read this a lot on the internet, but since I have never seen Malcolm in the Middle, I would never have noticed them unless people pointed them out to me. It's an interesting theory, but I'm skeptical on how much of it was done on purpose. I think it's people seeing things they want to see.

RoninFox

None of it was done on purpose, its just funny to think about.

It's just like the "theory" Dean Norris suggested that the blue meth turns people into zombies, making Breaking Bad the prequel to the Walking Dead.

Oh for sure. You get no argument from me there. :)

I honestly cannot think of a better writing job that could have been done.   Walt knew what he had to do and had plans in place to do everything.

And the music at the end was perfect.

Johnny Unusual

Yeah, a great song about Walt's real true love.

Nope. I went to Ript and got both of theirs (one on a hoodie, one on a shirt)

Glad they included Badger and Skinny Pete for "fan service" but still in a way that made sense. I was going to make a joke about hoping he would recruit them for a three-man assault on the compound before it actually aired. Maybe that's the alternate ending on the dvds

TheUnabeefer

After I watched the first season, I was fairly certain it would end with him once again standing in the middle of the desert, holding a pistol, with sirens off in the distance... only this time it would actually be the police coming for him.

I like the ending they wrote better. Very satisfying.
...and there he was, reigning supreme at number two.  The One... The Only... The Unabeefer.

Kete

I'm a little sad that the Nazis didn't make him strip to his underwear when they were checking for a wire.

I like that one of the last episodes showed him walk past the pants he lost in the pilot.  That was enough of a full circle moment for me.
